The English Festival is held annually by the Western Pennsylvania Council of Teachers of English . This event is for students in grades 4-12 and was organized in an effort to promote quality reading among our students. Interested students are required to read books from a predetermined list. All students who participate in the festival are organized into teams of four or five in order to participate in various activities.
This year's English Festival for grades 4-6 is May 10, 2019 at Seton-LaSalle High School.
Students are required to read all of the books. The students will hear a presentation from the featured author, . They will compete in various activities throughout the day. Registration is $50 per team, which is $10 per student. The PTG and the Library order a set of books for students to share.
Books may be purchased for $30 per set, or $9 for individual books.
Registration and book order forms will be sent home with your student.
